HARD ROCK CAFE Cabo San Lucas
NOW OPEN!
Located in the heart of downtown Cabo San Lucas, Hard Rock Cafe Cabo San Lucas is right where we love to be—in the middle of the action! Our three-story mecca fits over 300 partygoers on various levels, which include the Rock Shop®, restaurant, a full bar, and dance floor and stage for live performances. You can view it all while taking a ride in our glass elevator that showcases a panoramic view of everything.
Hard Rock Cafe Cabo San Lucas occupies some prime real estate, in the main street Lazaro Cardenas across the street from Cabo San Lucas Marina, Coco Bongo, Starbucks, and Squid Roe.
Celebrating Cabo’s Past
Steeped in history dating back centuries, Cabo’s evolution includes the Pericues tribes, pirates, and Franciscans. Fishing is everything here, with the seafood packaging blew up in early 1919 and WWII veterans discovering marlins weighing more than 485 pounds. In the 60s and 70s, word spread that 900 miles south of Hollywood, a safe refuge existed for the rich and famous. The news spread like wildfire, which triggered an invasion of celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Sophia Loren, Mick Jagger, Elton John, and John Wayne.

Built in the 70s, the Transpeninsular Highway made Cabo the hottest spot for California surfers. People fled the coldness of the north to invade the warm beaches. In the 90s, the airport opened, and Cabo witnessed a vertiginous growth of the tourist market. Hard Rock Cafe joined the expansion, and the rest is history!Events
